Emil Hagstrom opened the 25th store in his chain of cash-and-carry grocery stores in 1932, located on Main Street. In 1946, the store moved to 1632 Locust Street and offered free off-street parking. The location has been recognized as a landmark site, indicated by Tour Code 182.
